Q-Lab, a leader in weathering and corrosion equipment and related testing, is proud to announce the launch of the new Q-SUN Xe-3 “X” model xenon arc weathering chambers. Building on decades of proven performance, versatility, affordability, and reliability, the new “X” models are engineered to deliver significantly improved chamber uniformity and an expanded range of achievable temperature and humidity conditions. These capabilities help customers more easily meet rigorous international weathering test standards used around the world. “With the new Xe-3 ‘X’ models, our team focused on improving the key features that matter most to our customers,” says Brad Reis, President and Chief Operating Officer at Q-Lab. “Improved uniformity and broader testing flexibility allow users to more reliably meet all major weathering test standards, often in less-than-ideal laboratory conditions.” Like all Q-SUN xenon arc testers, the Xe-3 “X” models accurately reproduce full-spectrum sunlight and are suitable for testing a wide range of materials, including plastics, coatings, textiles, and automotive components.
